Women’s Fellowship

Directed by Reverend Kathy Kuykendall, the Agape Christian Ministries Women’s Fellowship began with several reasons in mind.
The first reason for the fellowship was to bring Christian women together to examine and carry out the mandate given in the book of Titus.
“The older women should teach the younger in natural things and give instructions in holy living.” -Titus 2:3
The second reason is for the fellowship to develop unity with sisters in Christ; first here in the local body, then across denominational lines. This unity would be seen as a witness to the world and a good example of agreement amongst God’s people.
The third reason comes right out of the book of Revelations. It says
“We overcome by the blood of the Lamb and by the word of our testimony…”
As overcomers in Christ, it is of utmost importance that we share of the victories gained in our daily Christian walk with other women to keep them encouraged and focused on Godly things.
A fourth reason was to inspire and encourage our Christian sisters to pursue past and future goals and desires, whether they are of education, starting a new business, purchasing home, or reaching personal goals.
And last, but not least, the fifth, reason is because there are current, as well as, older issues concerning women that the church should address in the light of God’s Holy Word. We are living in perilous times and Christian women can’t afford to live by the world’s standards, opinions, and philosophies.
The Women’s Fellowship has been a precious vehicle that the Lord has used to keep us flowing, touching, and worshiping with our sisters.
